HIGHLIGHTED SITE    **DOCCOVINGTON.NET**

There are many singers and musicians who are Xenites, but few who combine their loves. A visit to DocCovington.net is a great step into fandom-related music. Theo "DocCovington" Roglev sings lead vocals, plays guitar, and penned the lyrics for many of the songs available on the site. She is joined by band-mate Fredi "SoundSleeper" Kohl, and when Chris "Soundwarrior" Jeffery's site closed, she made two of his X:WP songs available. Buffy fan songs also abound.

The Ides of March -
Music and lyrics by DocCovington.
Original rock ballad and moving interpretation inspired by the episode of the same name. This song has also been used as the soundtrack for two fan music videos, one by Andreas Hloupy (Xenatiom), and one from True Xena.

Doc's Boogie -
Lyrics by DocCovington. Music by SoundSleeper.
Obviously, "The Xena Scrolls" is a favorite episode. This "passionate rock song" is about the sexual tension between Janice Covington and Melinda Pappas. (Not for non-subtexters :-)

Fever (Doc's Version) -
Adaptation of the old song with additional lyrics by Doc. Described as a "persiflage on the subtext of the show."

Joxer the Mighty (Alternative Version) -
Lyrics by Doc, set to Joseph LoDuca's music. Parody of Joxer's song.

The Love Of Your Love (Acoustic Version) -
Acoustic cover version of the song from "The Bitter Suite." Music and lyrics by Joseph LoDuca.

A Jewel in Texas (A Tribute to Reneé O'Connor) -
Birthday song for Reneé, written by Soundwarrior. Soundwarrior's original version is available, in addition to DocCovington's acoustic cover of the song.

Gone -
Music, lyrics and performed by Soundwarrior. Song about love and death, inspired by "The Greater Good" and "Destiny."
